NET CALL SYSTEM

The DX3H Morning Net is a roll-call type net, where participants are called based on the previous day's list in numerical order. No participant may break-in until the last station on the list has been called, which is about 5:45 AM (plus or minus 5 minutes), except for the following:

1.  Emergencies

2.  Priority traffic

3.  Request for contact

4.  QRP stations (5 watts or less)

5.  New net participants

CHECK-INS VIA ZELLO

Our Zello channel is DX3HSPI with the server currently located at 4F3PH's residence in Malolos, Bulacan using Yaesu 7900R hooked-up with 5 element Yagi (pointing southeast) at about 45 feet from the ground. Stations may check-in via Zello when the participant:

• is overseas 

• about 200km or more from NCS area 

• TEMPORARILY unable to use his VHF radio, for example, but not limited to: emergency instances, system breakdown, work-related reasons.

EARLY CHECK-IN TIME SLOT

Early check-ins are allowed for the following:

• 4:30-4:40am for Zello users who are abroad and our 3 priests who regularly handle the morning prayer

• MEMBERS to check-in early via pm, text, call thru the Net Committee Chairman (NCC), 4F3PH, Asst. NCC, DW3RDR or NC group chat.

ROLL CALL TIME SLOTS

• 4:40-5:00 AM - MEMBERS' ROLL [NCS, Top Members, Other Members]

  • If the Members' roll call ends earlier than 5 AM, members who are not in the day's list or who missed their slot earlier may still check-in.

• 5:00-6:00 AM - FRIENDS' ROLL [Top Friends and Other Friends]

• NCS, Top Members and Top Friends have a fixed slot for the year. Since they can retain their slot even if they missed it for the day, they will only be called once.  

• Members still have the chance to check-in late as stated above, otherwise they will all wait for the NCS to finish the final list entry to be queued again.

DEDICATED NET SLOT for MEMBERS/FRIENDS

ACHIEVING PERFECT 1-YEAR ATTENDANCE

In acknowledgement of the efforts of net participants with perfect net attendance for one year, they are considered as top among their corresponding group (Top Member/Top Friend). As such, they are awarded with Certificate of Appreciation highlighting their excellence in their net participation.  They will then have a dedicated slot in the net, as long as they maintain at least 70% net attendance, which will be appraised at year-end.
